Default Help!!

im in a bit of a dialema so i hope you guys can help me

ive been looking for a nice sv for a while, seen a couple etc.

Ive come across a nice one not too far from me, but and wondering if it sounds a little expensive

its a Curvy Yellow Y reg 2001.

with 8000 miles on the clock

2 owners

totaly standard

alpha dotted

totaly mint condition, with a brand new set of continenetal Conti Attacks on it (still have labels on)

it will have 12 months MOT put on IF i buy it

He wants £2650, will take my Bandit in part ex for £1000 (which i think is a little low)

is £2650 reasonable / expensive / bloody expensive??

Cheers

I think thats a bit much for the bike, easiest way is have a quick look through autotrader and see what they are going for. Also what details do you have on the bandit, run those details through Parkers and that will give you a realistic price of your bike

Sounds like a nice bike but bloody expensive.Try taking your bandit into a main dealer and getting a PX price against a new SV.Give you an idea of it's value.
For a cash buy of a five year old curvy I'd not go above £1800.

main dealer only offering me 1000-1100 for the bandit about the same.

nobody has got curveys in around here, i can afford to buy a new one but not insure it!!!

I am tempted to sell the bandit first and then go get my Sv but am worried ill miss the 2 days of summer well get lol

Bloody expensive. I only got £2500 for my 03 Hornet, 12750 miles, excellent nick.

Don't let heart rule head, you'll regret it. Be prepared to walk away.

Buy the SV for £1900 then sell your BANDIT and spend the money on bits for the SV and beer
