Parliament Square.
Just a warning if you are coming round Parliament Sq to go up Whitehall......
The road markings have changed where you turn onto Whitehall as buses are now allowed to come over Westminster Bridge and do a right turn, ie they now dont need to go round Parliament Square, and have right-of way over traffic turning off of the Square onto Whitehall.

Re: Parliament Square.
Oh is that what it's all about the outside lane bus lane coming from the bridge that seemed to just end w/out going anywhere (and it's not motorbike bus lane )
Ah makes sense then (that the buses don't have to go round the square) What's with the overkill of Police precence at the mo'? Far more than protesters |

Re: Parliament Square.
Went that way last night and had to laugh at White Van Man.
The part marked by the give-way signs is NOT controlled by the traffic lights - obviously as then there would not be give-way markings, but traffic light markings. Because he could see the red-light in front of him on his right (there was no traffic light on the left side of that part of the junction he was still sitting there when, having gone past him and stopped at the ped crossing just round the corner, he was still sitting there when the ped crossing went to green............ He's probably still sitting there.
