shorter pillion pegs?

well the wife and i went to cromer, norfolk on sunday for the day to see family and whilst we both had a good ride the wife complained that her feet wernt high enough and that the edge of the seat was digging in to her thighs! now without splashing out on a new bike (i have to make this one last atleast 18 months) is there any way of raising the pegs or would shorter pegs from another bike fit? wot about a custom seat? or am i just gonna have to convince her we need a new bike!! lol

She have any platform boots?
Although slightly more seriously if she hasn't already got bike boots you could get her some of those 'short árse biker bird boots' (as I believe they are called) with the thicker sole. This'll have the same effect as raising the pegs...just depends how much they need raising.

shes got bike boots which have a bit of a heal but not much, she hasnt been on the bike in months and probaley wont again till nxt summer, she normaly does half hour stints as sunday was over an hour between stops, but this does give me a good excuse to rub baby oil in to her thighs.......which mostly ends in a happy ending!!
