. Friday 2nd November I'll be adrift 'in town'. About 2.30 i've got to be at the Ship President at Victoria Embankment to meet the runners (see link in signature) - smile, wave, free drinks, important blokes with big hats etc...then my plan is to duck & dive, bob & weave and tik & tak - find my way on foot via Piccadilly and on up to the street known as Frith. So, line up some flagons and I'll see if I can blow a few cobwebs away from ones leather purse (Adopt Blackadder stylee - Ah! You have a womans purse!! I'll wager that purse hasn't had five shipwrecked mariners tossing in it etc etc).

So - drinkies Friday. Maybe Northy can come a day early.

Saturday I'll be at Westminster then I'm taking my mum out to the theatre (Les Mis) and big eats (Rowley's) cos that's what you've got to do. She lives in Kent so 'Smoke' is a handy meeting venue.

Sunday small parade at Ship President in memory of sunken chaps. Put mum on the bus to Kent then unleash hell!!

Monday

go home to the missus.

I will be making a real effort to be there Friday night so I'll keep an eye on the weekly poll. (spect you'll all be PMing each other now
