Re: Backpack!
Me and drew both have one of these can't fault it really. Drew is still using the same one that was using when he came off in Feb. Its a bit battered but still works.
I tried a Kriega backpack (can't remember which one) but i prefered the Knox one. |

Re: Backpack!
I have a Kriega R25, and I love it. The chest thing is easy to do up/undo with gloves on, feeling comfortable when I'm wearing it, and although they don't claim it's 100% waterproof, it's waterproof enough to get my work shirts to work dry
I decided against the larger one (R35), as I would be tempted to put too much stuff on my back, plus the zip chest fastening looks awkward to do with gloves on. Stood up well to me sliding down the road on it as well, I kept that one for about 6 months afterwards, and then replaced it with the same model |

Re: Backpack!
Try a surplus store, the large capacity bergens/rucksacks are very tough and robust.

Re: Backpack!
Knox aeropack for me, can't fault it really, but for big stuff the PLCE bergen is excellent. And it's grunt-proofed so you've got to really try to break one.
