Default is there a definative rear shock list?

Ive been going over so many threads regarding rear suspension, and seen plenty of lists showing shock length, different specs etc, but so often it seems to boil doen to rider preference and weight.

Are there any lists on here that mention which shock is best suited to weight and riding type?

Im only a 9 1/2 stone lightweight, havent found any posts yet that help point me in the right diection, zx10r snd srad 750 seem to be contendors. I never have a pillion, and weigh feck all

Cheers, Lee

I weigh 11st unkitted, and I had a ZX636 B1H one on it. It was pretty much spot-on for what I needed after spending an afternoon setting up sag and a further week fiddling with compression/rebound settings. Easy to fit, too.

srad 750 is good for that weight

well worth fresh oil in it at that age though
