back to the future III
It's just been on TV.
The plot centered around the hijacking of a train for a scientific experiment. The reason for this is that the delorean had a hole in a fuel line from an arrow, and it had therefore run out of fuel. There were no petrol stations in 1885 so they borrowed a train to get the delorean to 88 mph. So far so good. BUT WHY? There was already a spare delorean in the old, abandoned mine shaft. They could have canabalised it & used it's fuel & fuel line. I could have made that movie approx 89 minutes shorter & less expensive. |

He explains to the Doc of that era that Doc's future self and the DeLorean time machine were accidentally sent back to the year 1885. Marty learns from a letter written by Doc in 1885, that the DeLorean is hidden in an old mineshaft. The letter instructs Marty to find the car, return to 1985, and then destroy it in order to prevent further disruption of the space-time continuum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Back_to_the_future_III

Re: back to the future III
Its a good argument to run your time machines on Diesel then you could have just used corn oil.

As with out the 'car' part is just a nuclear fusion reactor that doesn't move, as you need to be at 88 mph to trigger the jump in time. |
