Default Fuel Exhaust Fitting?

Well I've got my new Fuel Exhaust, can someone tell me how long it should take to cut through the exhaust with a hacksaw !!! I'm at work tomorrow and wanted to do it before I go to work so want some idea how early I might have to get up

well how enthusiastic are you , 10 minutes max I'd say, but stop for a brew & a fag and it could take you an hour, personally I use a 10" grinder and it takes about 20 seconds.

be aware it's double walled, there's an inside vented tube as well.

Well thats not happening got the heat shield off, taped up the footrest then just couldn't get a decent angle to make a start on the floor.

Plan B - get someone else to do it or get some proper tools

At least your shield came off ok. My bolts had seized and ended up snapping! Why can't you get a good angle on it?

Just at work now ran out of time a bit after getting the shield off, my bolt heads came off as well !!!

I'm in Accrington Lancs, I think once I get into it it will be ok but I was trying to do it on the garage on the floor. Might hire a saw midweek.
