Re: Hungry Highlander
well the new owners arrived back when we were still there looked a nice cppl chaps but i recon they were away at 'prayer' during lunchtime as the till etc.etc. was left on. we never enquired about bacon rolls but i very much doubt that they will be doing them.
they now do kebab's, pizza's curry's etc.etc. |

Re: Hungry Highlander
resurrection. anyone found somewhere for a cuppa and a bacon roll in Braemar yet?
there is gordons tea room but parking looks a nightmare. then there is the place further up on the roundabout that is closed on a sunday (figure that one out). |

Re: Hungry Highlander
Sunday complaint------reminds me of Kirkcaldy being a dry toon on a Sunday in the long and distant past.
I can never understand why so many places don't open on Sundays especially when folks are out and about. I could understand in the winter but make hay while the sun shines----wait a minute we are talking Scotland here.. |
