Depends entirely on what he is offering for your bike, but as a cash sale that sounds expensive to me.Bear in mind that in a couple of months you could probably get a brand new ZX6R or GSXR 600 for around the £5000 mark. The CBR is 7 years old.Nuff said.

They even take American Express

It'll do nicely thank you. But it's very pricey, you'd never sell it for that.

Similar to mine Jim. Can't comment on price (mileage on mine was 600 so was more than that) but looks clean, give it a test ride and see if you can negotiate the price down.

greg- whatdya thinks fair ?i suppose it depends on the trade in,if he gives me a decent p/x on mine we might b talking business ,but not if he does the usual dealer stuff .iv spoke to a few people thats dealt with him in the past and by all accounts hes pretty good and all his bikes are presented well(cleaned b4 putting them up for sale anway)and basically 'went over '(ride-on take note ).i think its a bit pricey but i its nice and its what ive been looking for .im not bothered about the resale cos i think id b keeping it and anyway most cbrs are above 3k in dealers. il go and see him tomo and take it from there(you never know )

well then just back in from dealers .he only offered 1700 for mine WITH all the extras(ccc,h/g.fabbri etc)!!his was overpriced @2995 ,so isaid'too much of a gap there'and got the 'winters coming ,you wont get much more than that'speech.now im aware of this but he was just taking the **** ,so no deal was done .i was prepared to finance a grand but not 1300.i left him my number and said 'if it doesnt shift (which i dont think it will at that price)and you reduce the price we might b able to talk biz, anyhoo back to the search typical dealer eh
