Default 7.5k service

my 7.5k service is due and i can do almost everything DIY but its the balancing the throttle bodys which i know nothing about could someone explain? and what tools do i need to buy? i'm sure ive read on here somewhere that you can make a tool for the job?

oops - never done it - there again I do not know of it needing to be done!

My curvy went in for it's 15,000 and it wasn't done, my pointy hasn't seen a garage at 16,000 miles

if its to difficult i'll just leave it, i dont trust garages and my wages take me too long to earn.
