Default Any plumbers out there

Can anyone give me an easy answer as to what to do with my shower please? We got in from a celebration evening with the kids, all in a hurry to have a shower, 1st and 2nd person got through OK 3rd one went in, turned the shower on (Mira event XS, 4 years old) it mad a whirring noise then the water came through, unfortunately he stopped it to tell me of the problem and the only thing we get now is the whirring noise and no water. Is it going to cost me a fortune?

Is that the power shower model?

If so it could be the pump is fubar, you can get spares but will have to contact Mira directly.

There is a shower forum where they'll help diagnose your problem. They can also supply the part if you so desire as well as instruction to fit it. I forget what it is called...shower doctor maybe...google is your friend!

If it's a pump shower then impeller or something similar is fudged. Some are cheap and some are expensive. Easy enough to change and shouldn't be too expensive .
