van to the TT
A friend has booked a van for us on the steam packet.
He just emailed a copy of the invoice to me and it says 1 Van. L: 5.0 m W:1.0m H:2.5m Now I would expect any dimensions to be Maximums but whoever has a 1m wide Van! Steam packet site only seems to talk about length and height and doesnt seem to match. Anyone shed any light on this?

Hi
You'll probably find that height and length are what they are booked on and the 1 is just nominal figure. I've been over loads and never been asked about width. Cheers Stuart |

Re: van to the TT
Think it was about £480 for two of us in the Van. Which was cheaper than two bikes separatly and we can take loads of equipment /food etc with us as well as the bikes.

Re: van to the TT
that's not bad at all , sure you could find some where to park up and sleep in back of van saving you the cost of b&b or camp site , have fun and enjoy
