OMO - recommend me some dirt action - SV650.org

I took my daughter to an off-riding school in Wales last summer and it was brilliant. We don't have quite the same scenery in South east Essex but I've been considering getting a couple of cheapish dirt bikes so we can go out together.

I've found it tricky to get solid advice on where to go in Essex (whether its pay per play or green lanes) and what sort of equipement might suit. I'm really looking for advice or pointers. My daughter is 15 soon and 5'6. Would want to keep the cost down to about £2k which is much cheaper than buying a horse, which is what she really wants!

Green lanes are just unmetalled roads and the law applies just the same, so your daughter would not be allowed.
XT225 Serow is an excellent bike for someone 5'6"

Thanks tigersaw. It's not easy/cheap getting someone in to off roading! Good recommendation on the bike

A decent Serow can be had for about 1k. Dont be put off by age, I have a 20 year old one and new one, the old one is much better build quality and should last as long again.
If you are just going to bum around on private land, then almost anything can be fun, even a C90
