Default Insurers for a SV650s at 17 in low risk area TPO?

as the title says, im looking to get a SV650s and finding quote at the moment, current insurer for RS125 only deal with small bikes and said it was like over £2k and better finding someone else.

So anyone know any that are good? got 1NCB aswell!! lol

I think, you will have a hard time beating that.

www.insurance2000.co.uk

I was 17 with a years no claims, sv650s year 2000 model.

It was £750 TPFT which was best I could find, with £300 excess.

And I think Im in a low risk area.

H&R seems the best for young without much NCB riders.

I would not go TPO, try TPFT at least. Unless you are not worried about your bike being stolen.

yea TPFT be nice just if i can afford it, really streching the finances getting this bike as doing it off my own back, not parents hand outs!! i think i could upgrade it when money is better and also i dont ever leave in anywhere it risk. only at college (private car park), work (private car park in middle of nowhere) and home (down side behind gate with cover on out of site with lock on gate)

Im with Simply bikes and they have been brilliant for me as a young rider. Give them a bell on 0870 241 2348. When they give you a price, think of a lower number you'd like the insurance for and haggle! It worked for me, my brother, and a friend. It's a good company.
