Nearly a nasty accident..
There i was driving along enjoying the fantastic weather, there was an old chap on a motorbike in front of me, suddenly without warning some stupid woman pulled out of a petrol station straight into the path of the oncoming motorbike. How he stayed on i dont know and how he actually avoided hitting her i will never know. Anyhow knowing what had happened she sped off, the biker had tried to come along side her but she shot dangerously onto a roundabout and then took a side road. She didnt even bother to stop to say sorry or even see if he was ok.
Anyhow i managed to get him to stop and checked to see if he was ok, he was quite badly shaken and understandably furious. "..wheres the police when you need them.." he said "..funny you should mention that..." i replied. I dont normally get involved in stuff outside of work but that was so out of order that i cannot let it drop. I think i shall be sending the woman a nice little NIP just to remind her that you never know whos watching. Thankfully i got the registration of the offending car and all his details..... my good deed for the day Rich |

Glad he managed to stay on and good job it was you behind.
Most folks won't even have had the presence of mind to get the registration number Cheers Ben |

I'm not a great lover of the issuing of NIPs, but on this occasion an exception most definitely gets my vote.

I feel so pleased to read that. You have restored some of my lost faith and all that.
Would'nt it be nice if there were more of you on the roads and streets and we stopped relying on cameras to do your job? Now for the cynical bit----CPS drops it due to ------Well we just can't be bothered really.

Nice one Fraser - I think we all wished we had the power of NIP sometimes when we come across drivers like this! Well done for pursuing it
