Recommend me a tank bag?
Hi orgers,
I'm after a tank bag, not to big and bulky, and with a clear top for maps/satnav to be held. just wondered if any of you guys have any recommendations. Cheers |

Re: Recommend me a tank bag?
By far the best ones I have ever owned are the Bagster tank bags. Expensive but they last brilliantly and are well worth the money, they are attached using a tank cover which you will also need, hence the cost, but it's only the cover which is bike-specific the bag can be kept and used with your next bike.
Anyone who knows me knows how mean I am, and if I'll spend the money I must be suitably impressed with the kit. Look here for the bags.

Oxford humpback. Good, robust, expandable kit.

Re: Recommend me a tank bag?
Bike or someone did a reasonable review a while back, testing them with powerspray, for their features etc.
I'll see if I still have it when I get home.

Re: Recommend me a tank bag?
Another +1 for Bagster tank harness plus bags. Very stable on the bike and hard wearing, wont damage the tank, keeps your thighs off the cold tanks. Excellent.

Re: Recommend me a tank bag?
Ive had a bog standard oxford tanky for years and its lasted really well. Bargain price (cant remember what I paid - it was on offer). Zips all still good, roomy and loads more magnets than Ive seen on some!
