Default Small air compressor

Hi, bit of a long shot...

I'm after a small air compressor for my garage. For tyre changes etc...

If anyone knows of any going please feel free to pm me.

Thanks

Just for blowing up tyres?

Or are you looking for compressed air for other uses as well?

I've got a couple of those ones, but I'm the same as the OP, I'd like one that runs off the mains in the garage.

I've just struggled getting the car close enough to allow the lead & air hose to blow up the bike tyres

Every bike should be fitted at the factory with a 12v cigar socket!!

Ah, thank you! I hadn't even given that kind of thing a thought before... I guess they would be fine for getting the bead on the rim.

Thanks again, I'll look into these a bit more.

Or better still, every household garage should have hot and cold running water, compressed air, central heating, a small lathe/milling machine, bike lift.

Oh and a wench to keep your tool(s) clean

I had one of these for off roading and one of the best bits of kit to have around.

Very much doubt it, these things wont blow the skin off a rice pudding.
If you want to seat tyres you need something with a resevoir

Hmm, yeah, tubeless tyres for road bikes may be an issue. They don't shift a lot of air in a short space of time.
