There's a girl....what should I wear?
Tonight, I'm going round to a friend's house. He recently got married. She-who-must-be-obeyed has invited some people round to her house tonight for some food & parlour games.
There will be another married couple and me and girl X. Girl X is very pretty. She was at my friend's wedding - I managed to somehow spectacluarily avoid speaking to her all night at this wedding (for a change!). This girl is single. What do I wear? I don't want to appear too formal and I don't want to arrive in my slobs. Somewhere casual & in between.... My *great* idea was this: Black boots, pair of black jeans & my shirt that is one of those crumpled ones that's all the fashion nowadays. I was considering putting on my blue superman t-shirt on undernear & having a few button on my crumpled shirt undone. In a kind of casual, I'm here having a nice time with mates kind of way. Does that come across as too juvenile? I s'pose I'll have a shave & stick on some CK1 or similar. |

Re: There's a girl....what should I wear?
thinking too hard. dont wear something you'd normally not, yeah make a bit of an effort, but dont go out today and buy 2 or 3 new things you'd never wear again.
be yourself. ok scrub that. be cool. |

Dress how you would dress normaly at that kind of thing. If superman is you, then wear that. Dont try to be something you are not. They need to see you as a challenge Just dont jump on her as soon as you walk through the door.

Re: There's a girl....what should I wear?
I reckon your thinking too much into everything.
Go in what's clean and you are comfortable in. If you go in there trying to get attention from girl no matter how much you get it won't be enough. Just go and enjoy yourself and if you click then that's fine if you don't thats fine also. Hth

ditto - be yourself and be comfortable - she'll probably notice straight away if you are not comfortable with something (and probably assume its her)
the outfit sounds fine just be you - no contrived laughter and plenty of eye contact when shes talking and never break a gaze if possible - try and make her look away HTH |

take her some flowers, a box of celebrations and maybe sacrifice a hamster for her? Chicks love that kinda stuff. Maybe not so much the flowers these days.

Nothing, wear absolutley nothing. At least that way you'll know sooner, rather than later if she finds you attractive naked. It's what I would do.
