Default Recommend me.....a DS game for kids

My wee girl is coming up for 7 and is looking for a new game for her Nintendo DS. She's got Nintendogs which has not only taught her all about looking after a dog (even though we have a real one) but also kept her quiet! Again please.

Know anything fun, suitable and playground trendy?

my neice is 9 now an last year i got her the Brain Train thing, fun and educational too and a lot better than the Dr Kawashima one apparently as you can keep trying to beat your best scores.

Slight derail... anyone tell me where i can get a DS at a good price. I want a new one so not ebay.

Thought about Hamsterz but after a year of training winners at dog shows she might find a hamster a little bit dull!

Plus god forbid it makes her want a real one...

Not sure about Lego SW for a girl?

My two boys play it on 360, and admittedly they love it, I would think its more of a boys thing.

How about Harvest Moon?
