Default A massive thank you to the org.

Back in March I posted this thread (http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=147626) about needing help sorting out my CV. In the end I think about 3 people PM'ed me to offer their help plus all the people that replied to the thread which was very nice of you all.

At the start my CV was all over the place and after sending it off to different people for tips on how to make it look better it started to form the appearance of a CV.

I sent the company I wanted to work for the CV. But I didn't just send it the once, I sent it 4 times over about 2 months I think. My theory was if they kept seeing my CV my name might get remembered.

What made things a little easier was my brother already having a job there. So whenever someone left, he'd tell me and I'd send me CV in.

It all paid off because 4 weeks ago they needed someone who was able and willing to start. Normally they would go through a 3 month interview and selection process but my brother put in a good word for me. 3 weeks ago the boss called me up for a chat which went well. He then asked if I could go up today.

When I got up there he said that I'd got the job and we got some paperwork filled out. I can honestly say for the first time I actually enjoyed turning up for work at my current job. I've had dreams about handing my notice in and today I finally got to do it.

So to sum up, thank you so much if you helped. I can now finally do something with my life.

Happy Times.

I think I can just about remember where the kettle is...... but I definitely know where the biscuits are kept

And if they ask you to work the 19th September the reply you're looking for is 'FECK RIGHT OFF!!!'

That's fab news Seggons! Can't remember if I helped or not as I've done quite a few CV's for orgers but to whoever did...well done but the biggest well done goes to you. No matter how good your CV is, it will only work if you use it and you did a fab job getting yourself known!
