Just saying hello
Hey all, my names Damien, I'm from the Midlands in Ireland just bought myself a 2004 sv650 k4 naked. It's my first bike to have properly on the road. Iv been around bikes all my life but have never had a bike of my own on the road. I'm going to be tidying up the sv over the next 2/3 months and hope to have my ibt done and insurance got for February.

Re: Just saying hello
Yeah it looks good from far but it's far from good. I need to get a underseat trim pieces, 2 new seats, chain and sprockets, front brakes leave a lot to be desired, a lock set, probably some standard grips it has Oxford heated but the wiring annoys me. After that a tail tidy hugger and twin headlight setup.

Re: Just saying hello
Don't get rid of the heated grips if your planning on riding in February, you'll really appreciate them, maybe try and tidy the cables up a little.

Re: Just saying hello
Welcome from a fellow black pointy rider - although mine's an SK4
For the brakes, I went for Goodrich lines and haven't looked back, the other thing I did was the hugger and front mudguard extension.
