Font wheel squeak - with odd video

Evening all!

My 06 pointy S is making an odd noise from the front wheel, it's been making the noise on and off for a few months but has now turned to constant noise. It only happens when I'm above about 45mph and doesn't change if I brake. It doesn't get louder the faster I go it almost seems to get faster as well if that makes sense.

After trawling YouTube to see if there was a video similar to the noise mines making I found one! Although it had a weird ginger guy filming himself for some reason! (Listen to the sound don't watch the video haha)

Any ideas what this could be?

ok lets start by asking if you got a new helmet at the same when the noise started?

bikes develop different noises as they get older.

check your oil level.

No I didn't to the best of my knowledge, it's there when I wear either of my lids, and with the visors open. And the oil level is fine, and changed about 150 miles ago along with the filter

Had the same noise myself for about a couple of weeks and it drove me absolutely mad.
As for what it was, I still don't know, it went away by itself :/

I did read a few people saying about greasing up the speed sensor on the front wheel though, the guy that posted this video made a comment about this too. Hopefully that could fix it for you.

Yeah its pretty annoying and slightly disconcerting at speed! Got it booked in to go and see a mechanic friend of mine in Saturday and I'll mention what you said about the speedo sensor
