Default I know I am thick, but.

I cant find the front seat release!!
The rear seat - no problem, on the left side rear panel. Quite suprised about the room under there.
But for the life of me I cant get the front seat off.

I am trying to get to the battery because the bike I bought just yesterday from a Honda dealer in Preston wont start.
Hoping its just the battery gone dead, but cant get to it to see for myself.

Any help gratefully recieved.
Thanks,

Alan

Never opened up a curvey, but on a pointy, you have to remove the plastic two side panels with allen keys and then you the see the bolts that hold the seat down, also allen keys.

Sure someone with a curvey will be along soon with real advice though.

Big of you to admit that you're not perfect. Good on you.

You have to remove the two side panels to release the front seat. For that you need two different sized allen keys which should be in the tool kit.

This may be a stupid question, but you do know you have to pull the clutch in to start the bike?

Cheers guys - that took all of about 5 minutes to get the answer to.

I presume that my assumption that I will get to the battery under the front seat is correct - then I have to find someone who has got even the 1st idea about whether the problem is being caused by the battery.

Basically it sounds like the battery is dead - but thats as much as my knowledge permits.

Does it turn over at all?

Have you got an alarm/immobiliser?
