Re: Your favourite picture of the year: 2019
Much as I enjoyed the BPW, the highlight of the year for me was meeting my first grandchild last month.

Re: Your favourite picture of the year: 2019
I'm going to cheat and have two. Not the best pictures but photos that remind me of a couple of really good things this year.
First up (it would be better if it had everyone from the weekend in) a reminder of what a great weekend away I had on the BPW. My first time riding with other people properly and a brilliant couple of days away. It was also something of a personal challenge I'd set myself after some difficulties I've been working through the last couple of years. It turned out to be more than just rising to a challenge. It became something I can't wait to do again.. which is an amazing personal result and I rode home elated. Good people and good fun. Very pleased to meet you all. Anyway a photo... Also, a very unexpected pleasure to own. Slightly rough at the edges but the VFR I picked up (after the much appreciated encouragement on here) has done so much for me this year. It's been a very difficult year at times and this bike has kept me going, getting out, feeling free and taking a break from the moments of heartache and sadness. I've put quite a few miles on it in the short time I've had it, as I have managed for once to stop being precious about a bike and just use it. So that means I've commuted, travelled distance, done shopping and just got out for some V4 therapy whenever I've needed, whatever the weather. It's totally taken me by surprise and I've loved it. The freedom it's given me has got me through a lot this year. Plus, it sounds and feels great. Again, not an amazing photo but a record of the bike... You might have noticed that both photos are of things that are direct results from being on this forum. So I guess it's a big thank you to all involved in the forum and for everyone's company / advice/ p*ss taking / support again this year. Just goes to prove that this is still the best forum on the interwebs. Hoping that whatever 2020 brings it brings some more fun times and good company with it too.

Always feel inspired by your photos Darren to get out and ride. Wonderful stuff as always.

What are you snapping with Darren? Never seen you post a bad pic or seen your thumb/finger in lens

Re: Your favourite picture of the year: 2019
Thanks guys. Pretty much always my Galaxy S10 these days. It's just so much easier to carry on the bike and usually produces better pics than my camera. It's great that it records the location too. Only thing I would say it lacks is a good zoom
