Help: how does this fit?
Hi Guys,
When I started to convert my bike with this comfort kit (grrr), I saw the brake lines were two pieces and not the OEM three pieces so I didn't take a great deal of notice when I took the brake line splitter and this piece off. Due to the supplied brake pipes being made for some other bike presumably (chopper?) being 4+ inches too long, I now want to re-use the original lines until I can get a proper HEL kit but I can't see how this fitted. Can one of yous guys either explain clearly for a thicko like me or preferably take a snap of the arrangement and post it here please? This is the bit: 2016-08-21 14.41.12 by Andrew Hayes, on Flickr Thanks. |

Re: Help: how does this fit?
My guess would be;
The 2 loops on the left are where the brake hose and speedo cable run through and the 'n'in the center is where it bolts onto the triple tree/lower yoke |

Re: Help: how does this fit?
Hi Blapper not sure if this picture will work and its of a gsxr top yoke? but i cant find a good sv one, so i hope this gives you a bit of an idea of how that switch cable guide fits. If i find a better sv version of the clip i will post it. HTH

If you go through the pictures on Maulers thread (click me) you should get a good look at where and how the clip goes. HTH

What a star you are Geodude, thanks man.
*DUH* it wasn't down near the brake splitter, it was part of the ignition switch assy. :rollseyes: Last edited by Blapper; 22-08-16 at 01:20 PM. |
