Default What's in your drawers?

Well, this afternoon the missus asked me if I had any batteries. As she did so, she waved a battery in the air indicating the size and type...I think it was one for her zen nano thingy...

I replied, "Yep - in my drawer upstairs in the bedroom".

"Ok" she said and vanished upstairs.

A little while later she came down and said "Can't find the batteries - but why have you got tile grout in your drawer?"

"Tile grout?" I replied, "No, no -that's my sock drawer - I meant the one in my bedside cabinet, top drawer - that's where I keep the batteries".

What concerns the missus is the mixture of things that appear to be in my drawers rather than the things themselves (in this same drawer is also a set of rather sharp modelling knives).

So gents - what 'weird' stuff do you keep in your drawers? Do the ladies keep 'weird' stuff in their drawers?

By the way - I answered her question about the grout with "...because you never know when you might need to fill a crack!!"

It might be worthy of mention at this point that all the clothes in my drawers are immaculately ironed and folded in an ever so slightly obssesive/compulsive manner - hence the concern about having other 'random stuff' with the clothes. The socks by the way are not ironed but are all in neat pairs in a ball...

Tut tut, every compulsive knows that all that does is stretch the elastic so they don't fit any more.

You need to get some plastic clips if you want to play in the big leagues....

Doesn't 'identically stretched' count?
