Default new er6n

hi everyone, just rode my next door neighbours new 06reg er6n back from the dealers where he,s just bought it from{has,nt passed his test yet, going to do it over the winter}.its the black n gold with 17000 on the clock and cost him£2400 in mint condition{looks nice}.on his permission,i took it up to 116mph on the m/way{ahem i mean 70mph}and it got there pretty quick before having to shut down due to a nasty cross wind.question is , overall performance wise ie,torque, acceleration, top speed, handling, etc how do u guys rate it against the sv?

I prefer it to the SV, but not because of performance

In extraordinary cases, like 1/10000 for the frame issue. The 08s have had some very minor frame tweaking apparently to fix even the remotest of frame issues.

Haven't riden the naked, but the F was good fun. I prefer the riding position of the SV. The engine is a parallel twin rather than a V, but other than that, it's got almost identical power and torque figures. The bikes are close on weight too. All the mags seem to conclude that basically, it's down to personal preference.

Much higher than that for the frame cracks, I was on the ER6N forum for a while and of less than a thousand active members, they'd had 5 frames crack. But Kwak have been good about fixing it, and it's non structural, so it's not really an issue at all IMO.

I quite like these, but I'd sooner have a Versys.
