Want a set that will allow me to get the swingarm out, are the front stands solid enough that you can jack the engine up with the front stand on?
Or should I just get an Abba stand?

Paddock stands won't allow you to remove the swingarm, neither will a stand that locates in the swingarm hole. Loosen all the bolts and then put a car jack under the rear of the engine.
No, you should get an NWS stand.

I meant the abba with the swingarm removal kit. (the one that lifts by the footpeg bolts IIRC)
I take it NWS offer the same thing?

if your carefull you should be able to jack the bike up under the engine so the bike leans onto the side stand this will allow you to remove the swing arm, you would be better with a front paddock stand but you have to be carefull to try and secure the handlebars so they dont flop about when you jack the bike up. Which ever way you do it you have to be abit carefull with it.

Got one from them last year, emailed them to tell them it wouldnt hold my SV safely, may as well not have bothered contacting them. Between that and the experience I had after ordering my stuff originally, I wouldnt recommend Busters at all. Pete |

The swingarm removal kit for the Abba makes it very handy indeed... Plus, if you get left without the specific adaptor for a bike you can get around that using the kit, though it's a pain in the bottom. The NWS is better, no doubt at all, but I don't think it can do this.
