Default passed first aid course

for a few days I have been at work doing a 'first aid at work' course. I decided to accept to do the course a few months ago as i thought it would be very useful to have out on the road.
Although I will probably only get to put a few plasters on fingers at work, the course covered a whole range of subjects that could save someones life out of a work environment as well. So even though a Dizzyblonde I feel rather proud of myself. I almost had to use it in a car crash outside work on Sunday morning, but hadn't finished the course then.
So today I officially became a First Aider. The scariest thing is, one day I may have to give someone CPR and save their life.

Congrats.

I was first aid trained many years ago, so not technically first aid trained anymore, but you never forget the important bits and it comes in very handy if only to calm and reasure the un-injured parties so the injured party can be dealt with safely and speedily!

Just remember to only help the one's who wont sue when you have to do something that causes them pain or dicomfort to save their life!!

Well done. One of the most selfless things you can do. Also bear in mind the chances are, the person(s) you might one day have to use it on will most likely be friends or family.
