Eejjits on scooters

So I now run the risk of having my windows put in or my bikes being nicked.....why??

Well for weeks the flippin chavvy kids that live over the road have had all their mates round wheelie and stoppies all over the place and using the pavements as ramps. 2- 4 scooters at a time,
I'm not usually the sort to have a massive shouting rant but this evening my blood has boiled over and I went out to confront.
My grandmother(80) over looks said house from her flat and hears the rabble night after night. I hear it and have watched them playing chicken with their mates cars up and down our street.
Tonight after witnessing various cartwheels by un-helmetted scooter riding chavs, with the distinct tone of bbbbeeeeeeeeee ringing in my ears I lost it. Stood in the middle of the street, pulled one over who I know well told him to put the damn thing away and tapped him on the head for not wearing his helmet. He went and apologised and off he trot, then his mate came wheeliying up ther street and I started to rant.
I swore cursed and generally anything that came out of my mouth....well did....silly thing is there were two youth workers stood there too. Must have looked like a screaming banshee.
What I basically did whilst screaming was ask them if any of them knew what it was like to be knocked off by a car....

was the reply----yes I fffing do, my fella has spent nine years with 8 inch plate n 12 screws holding his ar$$e on his legs, Spend time screaming in pain rolling around on the floor and have the prospect of a hip replacemnet in 5 years time. I also watched my best mate crawl out of bed the day after they put the same in his hip, and watch him crawl like an old man on a zimmer frame. Two plates in his wrists and watch for the last year his busines go down. F F F F F god these little toads have no idea what mess they would make of their lives.
Not only that they would have smashed head for no helmet, but bike illegsl too, cause half the numbers were missing and drawn back on with permanent marker!! Probably no tax or anything else....Poor person who smacked them with a car in the dark..

And did they care for my ranting???
Did they bloody hellers like..

I wouldn't mind but I usually go and just speak to them, but god they jsut haven't a clue.
Was I right to go to town and let rip?? I don't know but, i'll probably keep going out there til they get the meesage, or I do when I get a smashed window.



So rant over....I still feel no better

It's times like these you really need a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.

I would have done the same thing, perhaps they would have taken more notice if you'd ran them over first. Thing is as soon as one of them gets seriously hurt then it'll be a sob story.

Mind you, a very large man gave me some advice once.....

You'll get more respect with a kind work and a peice of 2 by 4 than just a kind word.

I wouldn't mind but they usually consider me the coolest person on the street, being a bird biker.....think I just went down in their listing.

Thing is though if they had an accident on our street i'd probably be the first one to run to their aid, being a first aider as well, i couldn't just stand n watch.

At least you have said your bit now, if one of them does get into an accident at least you know you did what you could to warn them of the dangers.
Unfortunately - like so many things, it takes a tragedy before people realise the error of their ways.

Maybe they will stop and think just for a moment about what you said before going out helmet less next time - but chances are it still wont stop them.

Well done for making an effort to try and help.

Maybe get a Road Safety Officer to pop by and have a word.

Make the one you do know responsible for the actions of the others - tell him that if your windows get broken, he's going to be missing teeth the next time you see him (regardless of whether it is or isn't them).

Seems like most of the neighbourhood kids around here are watching out for our place.

we got hundreds of the little scrotes down here, i stopped taking the bike to college because of them constantly wanting to race and playing pocket billiards over my bike! thieving little sh*tes

we've got some big woods around here where they like to take their zorst'less hairdryers at night, you can hear them for fudging miles!!.

also got some living across the road, was at fisty cuffs with the eldest because he tried to stitch me up for a hit and run that he'd committed
