Hi, only recently joined the forum and just noticed the regional groups. So just popped in to say hi.

I'm based in Wallasey and prepping a SV650 K3 for racing this year with the Wirral 100. Anyone fancy combining a day out with coming along to a race weekend then give me a shout. Tend to race at Angelsey and Oulton Park mainly, on the SV this year but have been racing an FZR400 for 6 years.

Wirral 100 are starting a minitwins class this year for watercooled up to 650, and aircooled up to 800cc I think, hence the SV.

If you are passing, pop in for a cuppa.

Will be missing the egg run this year unfortunately as I'm racing the same day in Anglesey, but the egg run starts less than a mile from my house.

Mike, not sure which way you'll be coming, and what days your around for, but I might be able to meet you when you come to the Anglesey track... given I live on Anglesey. It's also my son's birthday that day though, and as yet, I don't know what we're doing (or what I'm working).

If it helps, when you come over the bridge, take the first exit off the A55, left just before Llanfairpwll on to the A4080, and I'm about 5 miles down the road.

Drop me a PM a bit closer to the time, and I might be able to stop by the track (or you can call in for a cuppa), and I might get a chance to intorduce you to some of the islands roads (which IMO are better than the track) - but obviously you have to be more careful with speed.

First race this year is 16th March with a test day on the 15th. Pretty excited about the new minitwins class we are running and a good opportunity to watch the SVs ragging around at full tilt

I'm new to the SV and very impressed with it so far so should be fun on the track. Oulton Park can be a good day out too and pretty central for the Border Patrol hunting ground

Welcome flymo racer congrats on finding your way to the mighty org id like to see a load of svs hooning round a track that would be cool might even join in at some point in the future

p.s have you been around the new anglesea circuit yet and if so what do you think of it, gets a good write up and it looks awesome.

I actually took a phone call in work the other day from a guy in Anglesey (call was about his mum in Liverpool) we got chatting and he`s a biker. He works on the new circuit and said any time any of us fancy a trip there we`re welcome to stay over at his place... very nice of him! he could be an axe murderer but still nice of him to offer

sounds cool il just take me taser!! cant you get us some free track time ??

could try.... i didn`t think to ask him but i have his number. Will be cheeky and ring when I`m back in work next week
