Default Weird and wonderful loan bikes

I've just had the 14500m service done on my SV (late, but bleh) and so I've been using one of the dealers loan "bikes" for a day or so - a Burgman 125 (scooter).

Just wanted to float that flag up over the org, and see if anyone else has had an amusing or inappropriate loaner while their own has been off the road.

A brand new V-Rod - less than 100 miles on the clock.

I nearly got taken out on it, by some dozy bint on Hangar Lane roundabout.

My dad had a brand new gsr600 the naked "little B-King if you like" when his Bandit had a service at Cresent Suzuki in Verwood, Dorset.

A GPZ305, was like being on a moped that was able to do an indicated 90 (on a private road) and once had an RF600, that was worse than the 305, for me

while my sv was in the shop i got a gixxer 1100. scared the pants off me, was like hanging on to a cruise missile. got them to change it to something more sedate they brought me a gsf1000 very comfy to ride predictable and in essence dead dead boring but got me to work

Suzi GS500 when my SV went in for a service. Was 'interesting' but actually quite nimble. Good enough for kneedown antics too.
