Ok guys, a simple question here. What bracket do i need if possible to mount my clocks by the top yoke (like the n) without having to change the top yoke, reason being fairing and bracket is beyond repair but clocks are fine and i like the clip ons, and i'm trying to keep rebuild cost down.
Thanks in advance Lawrence |

Fairing brackets are about 60 quid on ebay, or 100 new. A top cowl is about 100 on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=005 Headlight about 75 quid used and you can live without fairing lowers til you've saved for new ones. |

Short answer is no you can't.
However it would take a fabricated one and you'd need to strengthen the top yoke as it doesn't have the material the naked one has. or of course a cut down front fairing frame and the current headstock mount is an option. Might be a idea to PM bigape, as he's doing much the same thing at the moment. Cheers Mark.

One of my side fairings is damaged beyond repair, so I'm keeping my clipons and doing a similar thing- having taken the fairings off and looking at the front frame bracket, if you have mad welding skills (z?) then you should be able to shorten it by a couple of inches, and stick the clocks by the top yoke. I wouldn't recommend it though, as it wouldn't look very nice at all. My bike has two holes drilled in the top yoke with which you should be able to fit clocks to- but I'd say it'd be much easier to get something like some Vapor clocks as they're universal.
