Default How much wear left in these sprockets?

SV K1 model registered June 2003, 16.5 kmiles on original chain. How much wear is left in the sprockets d'you think?

not 2 sure much life/miles is left in them but if you wanted i have a good set of orignal sprockets that i dont need which little money will lift.

They are obviously not new, but I'd say they were fine!

I'd/I only think of replacing sprockets when they became 'hooked' ... or the teeth are totally gone

If your thinking of swapping the chain then change the sprockets as a matter of course. Worn sprockets will reduce the life of your chain so it's false economy to not change them with a new chain.

New chain then new sprockets every time.

Slap a little lube on there and get back out on it , looks like plenty of life in them

thanks guys - I put a scott oiler on at 9k - seems to have preserved them then.

Those original C&S last very well indeed if regularly lubed.

my sprockets look even better than that, however chain is knackered so changing both...once i can get someone to loosen my front sprocket
