Would anyone be able to tell me if my very first bike is still in existence, the number plate was UHO 409R, based in Southampton at the time. Feelin nostalgic. Many thanks.

Motorcycle World in Northampton have a brand new FS1E in the showroom at the moment (yes you read that right).

Built from new genuine Yahama parts. Not for sale, belongs to a collector.

They also have a John McGuinness TT bike which belongs to the same guy.

My old one, after restoration by my younger sister and her eldest son. This was taken before I corrected her on the sidepanel stickers - this bike is actually a 1972 SS50, but she'd always known it as "the fizzy" so she mistakenly got the wrong sticker kit for it.

This bike was virtually destroyed by me in 12 months of running backwards and forwards between Reading, Bedford and Leicester when I was an army apprentice. I think I crashed it or fell off at least once a week and the crashbars were bent beyond belief. I remember when my dad bought it for my eldest sister, he paid a tenner extra to have indicators fitted. It then got passed to my elder sister and then to me, then to lil sis. My brother never inherited it because he's not allowed a licence.

Aah the memories... I had a Purple Fizzy, SFU 830N, first bike and I went 'everywhere' on it, didn't care about the cold then either. Once rode for 50 miles in freezing fog in an open faced helmet to see a girlfriend, looked like the Ice Man when I arrived!

I might be mistaken but I think that is a Garelli Tigercross. I had one at 16, most unreliable bike ever but good for 65mph
