I think the cells provide just enough power for an MP3 player, intercom and electric oven in the bag. It is always nice to get to the destination while out on a ride and pull out a freshly cooked chicken or nut roast...

I've got a similar unit myself and it's fantastic. They have batteries in them which charge throughout the day - so you don't need to be in the sun to be charging your phone/ipod etc. It's been a (metaphoric) lifesaver many times
