Default My Nan's VW Polo Mod

I keep my bikes in my Nan's garage, as I don't have one at my flat. She asked me to move her car back in after I had put the SV away today.

She has fitted a mod in the last 2 weeks to stop glare from the sun. I couldn't believe she could drive with that one there. She sits in the classic 'old woman with face against the steering wheel pose':

Anyone else seen these monstrosities before?

Mate bought an old datsun of an old giffer, it had two bits of white tape on the steering wheel. Turns out he used them to know when the wheel was at 12 o'clock to get the car going straight, he couldnt see more than 3 feet in front of him.
