Default well, gone & done it now!

I have now officially left the sv riding clan .... again (from next sat anyway), been out today and px'd the sv and hornet for a new bandit.
Put the SV back to standard before doing the deed, so will be selling some bling & other bits shortly.

As you've had so many SVs you must clearly like them. What are you expecting to get out of the Bandit that an SV doesn't give you? Just curious really.

So you'll be sliding off the back on a frequent basis as Dave pops the odd wheelie or three

Didn't Dave have one of these before, but you needed a stepladder to get on the pillion?

I had the mk2 1200 and enjoyed that, quite a versatile thing really - nice slow speed manners, excellent 350+ mile range before the backside started to object, and 11.25 quarters every time at elvington without trying (much). Mudge could see the attraction when I give him a go!

The new one felt very similar in comfort & handling, but the new water cooled 1250 engine is MUCH more refined than the oil cooled 1153, they have shifted peak torque to come in between 3-4k rather than 6-7k which makes it a doddle to putter round on & use like a big automatic.

I do like SV's and the bandit won't be better or worse than the sv - just different. I just fancied a change to the new big bandit.
