Lucky day in the office...

So far today I've been pretty lucky!! Just a random post (and quite long), feel free to ignore.

About 10am, we had a report that a site couldn't access the in-venue management portal. One of the other lads looked into it & got it completely wrong. He thought it was accessible, but it wasn't. I looked at it, and sorted it out.

Then my boss asked me if the backups were still running. Oops. Right, shut it down again before the site login. Lucky break #1.

Just now, I'm updating a terminal, or rather trying to. It's being a swine & not wanting to download. Usual IT trick of "if in doubt, reboot"... so I logged in to another system, and hit the button marked "reboot OS." A pop-up came asking if I was sure, to which I hit no & decided to check out the screen instead. When I checked it, someone's playing Roulette & has £2500 ish in credit. Phew. Lucky break #2.

So, when's the 3rd?
