Default Can spiders live in your ear?

......I really hope not!!!!!!

I've gone a bit deaf in one ear, and before you all tell me to clear them out, it's not that

I'm thinking it may be water, but I really don't know and surely after a week or so it should have sorted itself out? My mate has just very thoughtfully suggested that a spider may have crawled in and is hatching eggs I know heard of them crawling in mouths...

Is anyone an ear expert?

It's doing my head in Should I be arranging to see the doc?

It's more likely to be an ear infection than spiders, I wouldn't worry.

I heard about someone who had a baby scorpion hatch in their ear once. although it was on the radio and probably an urban myth

Might be worth getting checked out as its been a week, particularly if it is painful.

Put some warm olive oil in there just a few drops. I get trouble with my ears regular and the nurse told me to do this and it works. Helps loads more than the stuff you buy in the shops, she said its safer aswell. If it doesn't clear go get it syringed, i love the feeling and then the radar hearing is great for a few days.

Ok you're gonna think I'm really daft now (and you wouldn't be far wrong ) but I've never had that done, how does it work? is it as uncomfortable as I'd imagine it to be?

The olive oil might be worth a shot, ta

I'm a bit deaf in one ear at the moment, bloody annoying it is.

I'd feel sorry for the poor nurse who has to do that to people, but I think it might be in order for me.

Eurgh. Spiders.

It's great they shoot a warm jet of water in your ear and hold a dish to catch all the spiders, i mean wax .. you have to use a lubricant for a few days before i.e warm olive oil to loosen it but it's great, doesn't hurt just like jumping in the swimming pool and getting water in your ears. You'll have to see you GP first though just to make sure theres no infection..
