I posted something about brake fade a little while ago, I changed the seals, master cylinder cup, fluid, pads and cleaned the disks. Went to rockingham over the weekend and all started great brakes working well.
However by the end of the day they were cooked and at the end of the last sesssion I was using 4 finger braking. It was pretty warm (20c+) Is dot 5.1 much better than 4 |

Have you got standard rubber hoses? If so, try changing them for steel braided ones.
Its really all about heat, im not sure theres much you can do to eliminate the heat that hard braking generates... Matt |

I have the same problem with my track car, fluid kept boiling despite using 5.1 so I've switched to 300+ race fluid.

Braided lines, anyway I though that problems with the lines were fairly consistent rather than being caused by overheating.
I'm pretty sure its the fluid overheating as it seems to have got worse on hot days. Is it possible that track days are actually harder on your brakes than race days because they are being run for 20mins/hour repeatedly. I not sure what sort of gaps the race bikes normally get between races/runs? |

Track days probably are harder yea, race days you will only do one race (is that right for e.g. minitwins?). Braided lines may help dissipate heat better. The only other way to dissipate heat is to invent some sort of water-cooling jacket with water constantly flowing round!
You could try getting differant brakes, i.e. those of a GSXR (you'll need new mounting plates to enable them to fit)? Matt |

What fluid are you using?
Have you bled the brakes again and zip tied the lever back over night? |
