Default Nodding

Who does, who doesn't and are there any particular bikers who won't or don't nod back ?

Is it another one of those great things about biking or is it silly ?....

I do to all proper bikers and sometimes to the peds for the fun of the "did he just nod at me moment" most people nod back classic owners sometimes don't but then again they are probably more concerned with remembering where all the things that are falling off are going

I try to nod, but when there is a group of people together I dont as its impossible and you look like a nutcase, also when your in a place that is packed with bikes like matlock or something you just cant.

I nod, ecxept at tractor, sorry harley riders cos they have never nodded to me.

BMW GS riders seem to stick their foot out instead.

I always nod, even at proper geared 50cc bikes (not rev and go peds though).

It used to be cut and dry with who would and wouldn't nod, but these days I've even had a few harley riders nod, and some people who would appear to be 'weathered' riders on sports tourers who you would expect to nod, haven't.

It's odd days we live in!

On my way to work I always seem to ride past the same guy on a 1200 bandit. If I'm on the SV I always get a nod from him, but have never had one when I'm on my rat bike.
Just goes to show how peoples opinions towards bikes/nodding vary.

Nod when I can, sometimes conditions dictate that I can't.
