Default disc locks

I'm in the market for a new one. Any recommendations as to what a decent one to go for would be? - not too expensive tho (?20ish)
advice gratefully recieved.

The HG disc lock seems ample to me and does the trick. I'll find the link to it.

EDIT: Linky

I think the Motrax Vishas is still probably the one to go for, it's pretty good...

For an exra tenner on your budgt, i would go with what the above said, i only said the HG one as it fitted your budget. If I used it a lot, I would scrap my oxford boss and used that Motrax.

Remember to budget for a new disc for when you forget to take it off.

Just get a disc lock reminder cable with it and that solves that one.

Infinity are doing the Oxford Titan at about 8squid (half price)

It may not be the best in the world but my theory is that if a real bike thief wants the bike, he will have the bike. Just make sure that yours has more security than the one parked next to it.

I've got the Motrax Vishas, seems pretty hefty and solid. Can't say anyones tried to have a go at it yet, although I may be parking the bike up in Glasgow this weekend so that'll no doubt change!

Mines a length of plastic coated washing line, does the trick.

Since a disk lock doesnt stop them lifting the whole bike into the back of a van then the additional cost of a high quality lock is nullified. Cheap, chearful and obvious is the way to go.
