Default Ducati headlights

This one is for people who've got real experience of the 749/999 and the SV, ideally the carbed one... Just wondered how you would rate those stacked projectors compared to the SV ones, in terms of power, reach, etc. I've got a few ideas for "what next" and a couple of them would need some sort of different headlights, the Duke ones might just be ideal

I've not ridden Liz's 749 in the dark, but she says the headlights are a huge improvement over the lights in her pointy, which to me I thought were a huge improvement on the curvey headlights.

If shes behind me I can use her lights to see where I am going when I'm on my GSXR and the lights on my GSXR are awesome. When she puts them up on main beam they are better again.

They give a good beam and a good spread of light. When they are on main beam she says its like a lighthouse beam lighting up the road.

If you can get them to work and setup right on your SV it'll be a mahoosive lighting upgrade IMHO.

I've been looking at those too, are they dip/mains or are they seperate?

I'd probably have a halogen main and a HID dip...

Cool, cheers... That's another one for the "expensive ideas" box in my brain

The bottom light in the stack is the dip and the top light is the main ( I think its that way round ) they dont work together its one or the other.
