I'm on the verge of ordering one however my sv is a 1999 one and on the site im getting it from they say its for 2001 - 2006 - well the 2001 is a curvey..... I dont understand.
Any help to clear it up would be appreciated. Thanks Ash |

All Curvy's ('99-'02) have the same exhaust so as long as it is designed to fit one it will fit them all.

take a look......
http://www.sounddistribution.co.uk/p...recnumber=3914 the only thing that changed in that time was the pre load adjusters wernt it? On the scorpian website it says it is an available option i just dont understand why they havent listed its as 1999 - 2006 :S Cheers Ash |

Yeap, only the Preload adjusts are the main visual difference but there were a few other tweaks here and there but none which effect the exhaust! I can't see why it wouldn't fit a pre '01 bike, every other Curvy exhaust fits '99-'02 as there is no difference in the exhaust system.
If you are really wanting factual evidence/confirmation I advise looking at the Scorpion website and speaking to them. As i said if it fits an '01 and '02 it will fit a '99 and '00 model as well. It could be a typo on the website you have been looking at, but I have seen one on a Curvy! |

Maybe they listed it in that way as there are Hi and Low Level link pipes for their exhausts , the Street Extreme is a Low Level can IIRC so maybe they are erring on the side of caution . Seen them on Curveys and they sound Brilliant , picking mine up on Friday fashioned out of Titanium/Unobtanium

Baffle in or out they sound way better than any other mass produced can on the market , I`ll be videoing mine and posting them up , Standard can , then baffled scorpion , then unbaffled scorpion ..... and the obligatory open pipe rawping for good measure
