powder coating wheels

i was thinking or getting my scratched dimply crappy silver wheels powder coader. what dya think n wat colour.
was thinking black cus the bike is black n blue.
would it look sill doing just the wheels or would i have to do swingarm forks etc p.s im poor

I know black looks good with the early yellow (Y9F), I have black powder coated wheels on the 750! Personally I think silver suits the blue SV's best.

i no this might sound a bit stupid but can ya get powder coatin done in silver.

JimmyNumbers had his wheels done in a blue metallic which was very close to the SV blue, it was lovely... Really finished the bike off. Whereas I have mine done in tawdry gold

Yep, you can powdercoat in silver... Though colourmatching doesn't work as well as with paint because powdercoat has a different finish, even if the colour is identical it still tends to look different. But if it was me, I'd want something different, why pay all that money and make it the same?

Nope, but jimmy4237 probably would if you PMd him. He went and got himself an ugly ninja instead so no doubt he still has pics of his lovely SV on the wall

whats the cost of powder coating wheels then lads?

sounds pretty funky, well up for getting a load done on the bike this summer (thats after getting a job...)
