help needed, reward given...web peeps

I need help finding the company who is hosting my website http://www.1stlondondrivingacademy.com/

To cut a long story short Preston Web Hosting changed hands and the new company, who's name I can't remember is no longer working from the old link that I had and did not update. So now I cannot make any changes to my site as I don't know where to look. Great eh?

First person to come up with the correct web hosting company or an idea how to find it will get a T-shirt from me sent by post or in person depending on the distance.

Ran a whois on the domain-name and got this:

Do you have ftp access to the site with a username+password? You can always try to direct ftp things into it - can help you out with that if need be

i have the password and the user name, if I had the ftp i would have no problem

Tried ftp://www.1stlondondrivingacademy.com/ ? Obvious question, but needs testing - Safari doesn't like ftp through web-browser so can't check it quickly myself!

Outside chance, seeing as the WHOIS & traceroute's have been tried already - how about MCL Web Solutions - http://www.mclwebsolutions.com/

Found with a combination of the Internet Archive (takes snapshots of websites every now and again) which suggested Prestons Web Hosting was now called Sherman's Web Hosting)

And Google which suggested Shermans Web Hosting was run by one Mark Sherman who is also linked with MCL Web Solutions. And a search for MCL Web Solutions also brings up a lot of hits to the old Prestons Web Hosting page - http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...utions%22&meta=

(edit: I'm not saying your quality t-shirts are fit only for the charity bin, only that I've got plenty and I'm sure Oxfam needs it more than I do)

That gives a local rate telephone number of 0845 0093 714 which may or may not be still connected. From the looks of things this guy was/is running several domain names and several different businesses - that telephone number also links to "Speedy Encounters" speed dating in Lancashire - http://www.speedyencounters.net/demo/contact.html and the Glasgow Business Directory - http://www.glasgow-business.com/contact_us.html
The phone number also links indirectly (it's listed as a contact number for the company at a directory listing site) with KSM Ltd at http://www.web-design-inverness.com/about_us.html - the founder is listed as one Mark Preston here. Curious - Mark Sherman runs Preston's Web Hosting, subsequently renamed Sherman's Web Hosting and then a Mark Preston turns up at KSM Ltd. I suspect Mark Sherman and Mark Preston are one and the same. The login page at http://www.mclwebsolutions.com/secure_login.html (which still has a "Sherman's Web Hosting" banner) and the login page at http://www.web-design-inverness.com/login.html are just too similar to ignore - this is undoubtedly the same person.

At the very least, if you don't get any joy there I reckon the tax man might be interested in his dealings
