Default Trousers and armour

Hello folks,

I have purchased a few pairs of trousers now (via ebay) and have an issue with the armour in all of them. Basically im short 5,6 and have a fat ****. Meaning i need a large. However this means the armour is half way down my shin.

Do people wear seperate amour like strap on stuff? get trousers made to fit or what?

you might be able to get the armour panels removed and re-attached in more appropriate place. . . or you could get your knees moved?

yeah . . . on second thought you should leave your knees where the are, seriously though moving them should be safe enough if its done correctly.

Or you can get armor which is on some stretchy shorts type things which you wear under the leathers.

Im having the same problem and im 5'11", I must have really odd legs!!

I have been looking at some of the knox stuff, not sure what the stuff is like that attaches to your body instead of going in the leathers. Has anybody used this stuff?

have something similar for snowboarding, shorts and knee pads, never found them that comfortable really, had to make some mods to the knee pads just to make them wearable!

What sort of trousers are they, leather, textile, jeans... as this will affect what you can do.

Leather Jeans, I have now found some that are a reasonable fit so the others are up for sale.

Sorry for hijacking your thread Andy but It was a similar issue.
