Got hold of a kit at discount through Demon Tweeks, and must say those chaps at Dynojet have indeed produced an astounding set of needles. In honesty, the needles are the only thing really worth having in the kit given the jets and such are 10 a penny, but yes they are worth having.
Current set up is Micron headers, blue flame can and a BMC race filter (not RS, never got that filter to work properly as it seemed to make the air flow too slow). Previously despite all amounts of tom foolery with the stock needles, the bike was always "rough" at steady RPM and up to 1/3 throttle, now it's as smooth as silk. Again it's not a cheap mod for what you get, but very worthwhile. I expect I'll get a slightly better fuel consumption, so should pay for itself (well that's how I justified paying for the kit to r lass!!! ![]() Just thought I'd share. |

I've just been told something, which I'm not convinced is likely, in relation to the Dynojet needle wearing.
Is anyone aware of this rumour? I would have thought it'd take an excessive amount of running to start to wear the needle, if at all. |
